Comfort, hygiene, and safety guide the appointment.
Older dogs may have arthritis, reduced balance, vision or hearing loss, skin changes, heart or breathing conditions, incontinence, or lower tolerance for standing. These needs should shape the groom rather than being treated as an interruption.
Mobile service removes the car ride and long salon stay. The groomer can prioritize nails, sanitary care, coat comfort, and a practical trim while allowing reasonable position changes and rest when possible.
Grooming is not medical care. Dogs with unstable health, recent surgery, severe breathing problems, uncontrolled seizures, or an inability to tolerate handling may require veterinary guidance or a medically supervised groom.
